As my friendship with Bryan continued, so too did my interactions with scooters. As the winter months became more fierce, I watched and learned as Bryan tended to the care of his scooter. He showed me how to remove the battery and allowed me to join him on short trips when the weather was nicer.
Trips to the scooter shop became more regular as the weather got warmer. I got to know the owner as Scott and learned more about scooters. Scott taught me about the different scooter companies such as Genuine, Kymco, and Taotao, and shared their histories and the level of quality one could expect from each.
